As we are a 100%-volunteer organization, Papa currently lives in a foster home. This is what the foster family has to say:
Papa is a very friendly medium-sized dog who is sweet and people-oriented. He knows how to SIT, lay down, and SHAKE hands and will even do this with either paw! He is playful and will need an outlet for his energy - his current favorite toy is a Kong Jumbler which he sometimes carries around the yard when he plays by himself. He likes car rides and going for puppacinos! He loves everyone and gets a little (or a lot) wiggly when he meets someone new! We have also discovered he seems to enjoy wearing hats and sweaters, and he's so photogenic that you cannot help but dress him up for pictures! Got Netflix? He'll binge-watch whatever you're watching with you!
His ideal home would have no other dogs (cats who know dogs are OK) and no small children. He likes to run around with balls so a fenced yard is required.

A home visit will be required prior to adoption. We request that all adopters be within reasonable traveling distance to Burlington NC. All dogs will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption and will also be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella).
